The Wild Robot Meets a Wild Classroom!
Funded Nov 11, 2024I am deeply grateful for your incredible generosity in donating copies of The Wild Robot to our classroom. Your support has provided my students with a truly special opportunity to engage with a story that inspires creativity, empathy, and problem-solving. These books will not only spark their imaginations but also allow them to explore important life lessons about adapting to challenges, building relationships, and finding their place in the world.
In our classroom, we emphasize the importance of social-emotional growth alongside academic learning, and The Wild Robot beautifully aligns with these goals. The themes of resilience and collaboration within the story will encourage meaningful discussions and reflections among my students, helping them build valuable life skills. Your donation ensures that each student has their own copy, making the experience more personal and impactful for everyone.
Thank you for believing in the power of books to change lives. Your gift has made a lasting difference in the lives of my students, and we are all excited to embark on this literary adventure together. Your kindness and support remind us of the importance of community and the joy that comes from helping others grow.”
With gratitude,

Funded Aug 2, 2023I wanted to sincerely thank you for your donations and for supplying books for my classroom! My co-teacher also recently had a project funded for STEM materials so the kids have been very excited and have had numerous new materials to enjoy! I personally am a huge reader and a firm believer that if the children have a variety of books to choose from to pique their interests, then they will learn to love reading rather than eventually despising it.
When selecting the books for my classroom, I leaned towards a mixture of popular books, like 'Dog Man', 'Bad Guys', etc, and books that are more educational, such as the 'I Survived', 'Magic Treehouse', and the 'Who Is/Was/etc' books. I really like these types of books because they touch on important topics and people from history that mix fantasy or fiction with these different events and people. These books are not only knowledgeable, but popular and I know why!”
