  • Sensory for Student Wellness!

    My students and I have really enjoyed every item that you donated for us. My students have many hyper/hypo sensory needs due to their Autism and Intellectual disabilities. Many become easily overwhelmed, frustrated, and anxious, needing a way to help them release that built up energy and tension. The items that were donated like the Rubber Floor Mat and textured building blocks have been very effective it teaching them how to self-advocate their needs and we have created an independent way for them to use them as needed. These items are very helpful and definitely have been recommended for other teachers to use in there classroom. We are extremely grateful to have had you in our journey.   • Empowering Students with Down Syndrome

    It has been an amazing experience from receiving the packages to organizing them on our interaction station, the students and I really have enjoyed each item that you have provided for my students with Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities, and Autism. Many items have great utilization for my students from there vibrant colors, to there textures and sounds. The students really have each found an item that has interested them and motivated them to work on fine motor skills and movement that there occupational therapist and physical therapist have recommended to help loosen and perfect their grip. We are truly grateful to have you in our journey. Thank you for helping all my students be the best they can be!!”

  • Healthy Interactions for Autism

    Funded Jun 30, 2023

    Having activities that allow my students and I to interact in healthy ways and empower them to build confidence in themselves has been truly a blessing. Many of my students struggle with sharing their space and having dialogue. Your items really allow for a nurturing space that welcomes interactions.

    The conversation cards and board game activities have helped make learning fun and I have created a peace corner where all students can participate in once they have finished the class assignments. This students are extremely excited and motivated to complete their assignments efficiently!
