  • Calm Down Corner Essentials

    Funded Sep 7, 2024

I want to express my sincere gratitude for your incredible support of the Calm Down Corner Essentials project. It is amazing to see how your contribution has enhanced my students' learning environment and made a significant impact.

Thanks to the generous donation, we received a modular couch and small woven baskets that store various sensory materials. These items were carefully selected to create a nurturing and supportive space for students who may need a little extra help when navigating their emotions. The modular couch offers a comfortable and inviting spot for students to relax, reflect, and regain their composure, while the woven baskets are perfect for organizing sensory tools that can assist in calming techniques. In today's fast-paced world, it's crucial for children to have a designated area where they can go to manage their feelings and take a break from overwhelming situations. The modular couch and sensory materials will undoubtedly help us achieve this goal.

The addition of these resources aligns perfectly with my commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment. It's important for students to know that their emotions are valid and that there are healthy ways to cope with them. By providing them with tools and a space to practice self-regulation, we are empowering them to take charge of their emotional well-being. This is a vital skill that will benefit them not only in school but throughout their lives.

Once again, thank you for your generous support and belief in this project. Your contributions have made a lasting difference, and I am truly grateful.”

  • Supply Refresh... Right This Way!

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

I must express my sincere gratitude for your generous donations to my Donors Choose project, "Supply Refresh... Right This Way!". Your support has made a significant impact on our speech and language therapy room, and I cannot thank you enough for your thoughtfulness.

Thanks to your contributions, we were able to procure a variety of materials that will enhance our learning environment.

The laminating pouches have been invaluable. They allow me to preserve student work and create engaging displays that showcase their efforts. The ability to laminate important materials means that we can use them year after year, reinforcing concepts and celebrating the students' achievements.

The bulletin board roll has transformed our classroom walls into vibrant spaces filled with important information and reminders.

Another fantastic addition is the whiteboard sticker for the wall. This innovative tool has provided us with a flexible space to brainstorm and collaborate. The students are excited to use it during group activities, and it has encouraged them to participate more actively in discussions. The interactive nature of this resource has fostered a collaborative spirit in the therapy space that I am thrilled to witness.

Your donation of tennis balls has been a game-changer! By placing them on the legs of our chairs, we've significantly reduced noise levels in the classroom. This simple yet effective addition has made a noticeable difference in our learning environment, allowing us to focus better on our lessons without distractions.

The loose-leaf binder rings have helped us to organize various materials effectively. This organization not only benefits the students but also creates a more streamlined teaching process for me. I appreciate how these small items can lead to such big changes in our daily operations.

I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for your support in this project. Your donations have not only provided essential materials but have also inspired a sense of community and collaboration among students. Thank you for believing in our mission and for being a part of this journey. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our learners.”

  • Organized Space = Our Happy Place

    Funded May 11, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our project, "Organized Space = Our Happy Place." My students and I are incredibly grateful for the support from the Donors Choose community. The two new bookshelves are perfect additions to our speech and language therapy space.

These bookshelves will transform our room into a more organized and efficient learning environment. By allowing students to access and manage materials independently, we are building their abilities to handle materials properly and encouraging a sense of responsibility. The organized storage will make speech and language therapy items more accessible and meaningful for all students.

These bookshelves will help designate different learning spaces within the room, giving each area a specific purpose to maximize student success. This structured environment will enhance our therapy sessions, making them more effective and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Your generosity is making a significant impact on our daily routines and overall learning experience. I am truly grateful for your contribution and for helping us create a happy and organized space where students can thrive.

Thank you for supporting our educational journey and for making a difference in our speech and language therapy space!”
