I hope this letter fills you with the same joy and gratitude that your generous donation has brought to our classroom. Your support has truly made a remarkable impact on our students' reading experience, and we cannot thank you enough.The series of books we received through your DonorsChoose donation have helped cultivate a love for reading by providing engaging and diverse stories that truly capture students interests and imaginations. During our daily silent sustained reading period, known as Rover, students select books independently and read for 20-30 minutes each day. This dedicated time for reading has been instrumental in fostering a positive reading culture in our classroom.

What's truly remarkable is the transformation we've witnessed since the arrival of these new books. Initially, it was challenging to motivate students to explore beyond the books recommended by teachers. However, with the addition of your donated books, students from all over the school are coming to my classroom during Rover period to borrow books. The original cases for each series have been completely emptied out, which is a testament to the enthusiasm for reading that was sparked by your generosity. Additionally, the students have begun compiling lists of books they WANT to read, marking a significant victory in our efforts to instill a lifelong love for reading. Your support has not only provided access to captivating literature but has also inspired a sense of agency and excitement in our students' reading journeys.
