I'm Not Kidney-ing You... We Need a Table!

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible gift of the kidney table for my classroom. Your generosity has had a profound impact on my students and their learning experiences.

Students were thrilled to walk in this year and see that we have a dedicated and comfortable space for small-group help and feedback. Just today, I was able to use the table to give more support to several struggling readers in a setting that felt so much more private than just sitting on the carpet or at the old, tiny desk we'd been using. I'm also able to catch common mistakes faster when working with small groups, something that was much harder to do when I could only fit one or two students around me at a time.

Soon, students will get to use the table for fluency practice as they work to improve their reading abilities. It will also be instrumental in creating a space for informative essay feedback conferences.

Your generosity has not only enhanced our classroom environment but also enriched the educational experiences of my students.
