Our elementary school is a very culturally diverse school in the DC public school system. We accept all students, regardless of their home country, with open arms. Within our kindergarten classroom our students speak around 10 languages, and many are bilingual and multilingual. As you can imagine, learning English for the first time requires some hands-on materials. DC Public Schools provides limited funds for all of our learning needs. With your help you can provide twenty-five 5- and 6-year-old students with the tools to help them form a solid foundation of lifelong skills.
