• Our Discovery Center Needs Your Help!

  Thank you so much for making this project possible for my fantastic Pre-K students. We received our project materials and the children started using them right away. The children enjoy using the ramps and pulleys, observing the plants and thermometer and playing with the multicultural dolls.

  These tools will help my students to understand new concepts. For example they are learning that a thermometer measures the temperature, They can also observe the plants and see them grow.

  My students were very happy to know that so many people supported them and helped fund our project.

• Having Fun in the Dramatic Play Center in Pre-K!

  Thank you so much for making this project possible for my fantastic Pre-K students. We received our project materials and we start using them right away. I was able to take some photos of my students using the materials. They were in awe of the beautiful feelings mirror, microwave, cake mixer blender, toaster and the various tools that came with it.

  The blender helped my students to develop math skills by counting the amount of ingredients that they need it to make a shake.The microwave and toaster also helped my students with counting and time skills. These skills will help them to succeed in kindergarten.

  They were ecstatic to know that people supported them and helped fund our project.”

• Getting Comfy and Cozy at Circle Time

  Funded Nov 13, 2023

  My students are very thankful by your donation. They use the carpet everyday during morning meeting, circle time and when they play in the block center.

  They were very excited when they saw the new colorful carpet with letters and squares. Some students trace the letters with their fingers and each student uses one square to sit down for morning meeting.

  Our curriculum is based in learning by asking questions about the world, my next project will to obtain games that help my students to learn about science, social studies, math and ELA while they play.”

• Headphones for My Students

  Funded May 14, 2023

  The headphones were very helpful to my students. These headphones helped my students to listen to stories, practiced their reading skills and math skills.

  They were so excited when we received them, they love the colors and were very comfortable when they put the headphones on. They were amazed to be able to use them and helped them learn better.

  Thank you so much for making an impact in my students learning by allowing them to use technology in a more efficient way. Many of my students are learning English as a second language and listening to stories in English is very helpful to them.”
