Comfy Carpet for Kinder
Funded Sep 11, 2023I cannot thank you enough for this amazing gift to our class! We did not have a classroom rug on which to sit. I tried using sit spots but they never stuck well and it just wasn't a comfortable place for students to sit.
With this classroom rug, we have first off a beautiful rug for the kiddos to sit. They each have their own special spot on the rug that belongs to them. This helps give them boundaries of where they can sit.
You should have seen the expression on their faces the day they came in to see our new rug. Seriously, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! ”

Funded Aug 15, 2023I originally asked for wobbly stools for my classroom so students who need physical movement could use them. However, when the project was funded, there were wobbly stools to be found. :( They allowed me to use the money to purchase something else. I thought long and hard about what I could buy to add value to my classroom. That's when I decided on expos markers.
We always need expo markers because we use them daily to practice writing our names, letters, sight words - you name it we use expo markers for it. Expos are the best because they are the best quality and last the longest. As you might be able to imagine, beginning of the year kindergarteners can go through the dry erase markers. So, now my class has a supply of the markers that will literally last us all year!
Thank you for your contribution to our classroom. While I would have loved to get the wobbly stools, I assure you the thin expo markers will get even more use and definitely was a need for our class. I appreciate you so much!”

Funded Jul 28, 2023This Qball has been amazing in my classroom! I am so thankful for it and I know my students are too. They get so excited when they see it sitting out because they know they will have the opportunity to use the Qball!
This tool helps me personally hear ideas and responses from my kinders. They are often very quiet and don't want to speak loud in from of their peers. But the attraction of the Qball is enough to entice them to raise their hands to talk.
This tool also allows my other students to hear student ideas and responses as well. Everyone in the room can hear what speakers are saying and can actively be apart of that student's ideas.
This is such a fun microphone. It can dropped, thrown, passed in many ways and it's like having a PA system within the classroom. We just love it! Thank you a million times over!”
