Help My Students ‘Squeeze’ Out Their Best Work!
Funded Nov 5, 2024In our classroom, the Needoh fidget toys have become a valuable tool for helping students manage their emotions and stay focused. During lessons, I've noticed that many students use the fidget toys to help them concentrate while they work or listen. For example, one of my students who has ADHD finds it easier to stay engaged during math lessons when using a fidget toy, which helps reduce their restlessness and allows them to follow along with complex problems and concepts.
A specific classroom moment that stands out is during a group project where students were constructing different figures and graphs for a "sleep lab" project. The students were tasked with representing sleep patterns using data in various formats, including bar graphs, pie charts, and line graphs. The work required careful attention to detail and a lot of focus, and the fidget toys played a crucial role in helping students stay calm and concentrated. As students worked together, some used the fidget toys to release nervous energy while brainstorming and double-checking their data. The ability to focus on the task at hand while having a fidget toy in their hands helped students feel more comfortable and less anxious during this collaborative and somewhat challenging task.
When my students first saw the Needoh fidget toys, their reactions were filled with excitement and curiosity. Many of them immediately began exploring how the toys worked and were eager to try them out. It was amazing to see how such a simple resource brought so much joy and provided an instant tool for managing stress. Some students even shared how their parents introduced using fidget toys at home, which was a great indication of how meaningful these resources were beyond the classroom.
Overall, the donation of Needoh fidget toys has made a noticeable difference in our classroom's dynamics by helping students manage their mental health and focus more effectively, making learning a more positive experience for everyone.”

Funded May 9, 2023I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude on behalf of students at Columbia Secondary School for your generous donation of a printer for use in our science fair. Your contribution has made a significant impact on our educational endeavors, and we are deeply appreciative of your support.
With this new printer, our students were able to create detailed visual aids, posters, and 3D models to complement their science projects and presentations. This technology not only improved the quality of their work but also foster their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Your kindness has not only benefited our current students but will continue to benefit countless others in the years to come. Your belief in the power of education and your willingness to invest in our students' futures is truly commendable.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and commitment to the education of our students. We are immensely grateful for your support, and we look forward to sharing the success of our science projects with you.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Kim
