  • School-Based Health Clinic Needs

    Funded Aug 12, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation to our health center. Though the items may seem to be insignificant, they make a huge impact in the lives of our students. Your donations allows our students to remain in class and focused on their work.

When our students arrive hungry due to lack of resources at home, a small snack can help their hunger headaches and stomach cramps resolve. Hygiene products allow the students to feel less self-conscious and more confident while remaining at school. Stress balls and motivation bracelets are tokens that the students can reach for throughout the school day.

Our students appreciate these items, and we appreciate your help in being able to offer them. Thank your for all that you do for our community.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sarah

When I first saw that people had given to my project, I felt like we had support and understanding in what we provide to our students/patients beyond the typical school nurse and pediatrician's office. We provide a safe space for bridging the gap in personal hygiene. Small things like a snack, a new toothbrush, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products are a luxury to many of our students. We have seen these donations provide relief to stressors that were previously negatively impacting their ability to focus on their schoolwork.

We are planning our self-breast examination lesson for October. I know the breast cancer awareness bracelets will help get the girls interested and keep them engaged.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sarah
