Journals for Students
Funded Sep 17, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation. Through your efforts, we were able to give students their own personal journal. During SEL they are able to participate in writing prompts that build their ELA skills as well as help them to express their feelings in healthy ways. Students decorated their covers as an art project, which gave them an opportunity to personalize their journals in a way that was meaningful to them. At the end of the year, students will have these journals as a keepsake of their growth and perserverance.”

Teaching with Compassion
Funded Aug 30, 2024Thank you for your donation. I am so excited to be able to provide students with these items! They have arrived and I am already using them with our kids. Being able to present our students with items to help with their capacity to care for each other is such an amazing gift. To see them talk to each other and work out differences instead of arguing or fighting, is such a step towards healing the effects of pandemic social learning loss. Hopefully they will continue to enjoy being with peers and learning new skills. I appreciate your donation and your support!”

Funded Nov 27, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation. The desk arrived and the students immediately got to work with them, they were a big hit! My students have been using these mobile desks during our small groups to work on literacy and anemic awareness. Their ability to move them around. The room has helped them to choose their workspace so they can be next to a friend or a little bit farther away if they feel like they need some space so they can concentrate. I truly appreciate all you have done for my students this year!”

Art Lab
Funded Aug 20, 2023My students have been enjoying their art supplies immensely. We will be using the canvases to create a family gift this holiday season. I cannot express enough gratitude for those who helped make this a reality for my kiddos. Many of my students do not have access to these materials outside of school, These types of activities are really one of a kind for them and it's thanks to people like you they get to have them. Art is such a great activity for young students, especially my students who have experienced trauma, or were unable to socialize because of Covid. This is their first group art project experience. They are learning so much. Cheers!”
