  • Nate the Great

    Funded Feb 7, 2025

Thank you so much for donating to my project. My students love having this series in my classroom. Nate The Great teaches them a lot of problem solving and mystery. They are able to start making predictions about what they think will happen. It teaches them practical thinking skills. In my classroom I love to have reading as much as possible. Whenever they finish an assignment, they pull out their books to read. We have reading time in the afternoon after we do our class read aloud. I have never seen a group of students so interested in wanting to read before this year.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Reid

  • Finishing the Series

    Funded Apr 9, 2025

Thank you so much for choosing my project to donate to. My students have already loved having these books to read. As soon as they were on the shelf, students started checking them out. I have some that are so excited to finish more of a book series that they love. These books are so popular among my students that almost all of them are checked out at the same time. All of my students can have a book that they enjoy and understand. I know that these books will continue to be popular for the next several years and that they will be put to good use.”

    With gratitude,

  • Listening Ears

    Funded Apr 7, 2025

Thank you so much for your donation to my project! I know that these are going to help my students so much! It is always nice to have things in our classroom that I can give to the students who don't have the resources to get them themselves. These will be a great help!”

    Mrs. Reid

  • Struggling Reader Books

    Funded Dec 6, 2024

My students have already enjoyed having these books in our classroom. I love that every student in my classroom has a book in their grade level that they can read and enjoy. I know it can be hard for the lower level readers to have a book they are capable of reading that attracts their attention. These books are able to complete both of those things and they can enjoy their time reading! The more they read, the more they are able to learn and grow. I hope that these books continue to be popular in my classroom and students read them for as long as they are able.”

  • Holiday Books

    Funded Dec 6, 2024

Thank you so much for donating to my classroom!! My students loved being able to have their own book to keep at their house. I had a few families even send me pictures of them purchasing the rest of the series for their student. I know that my students will cherish these books and remember how cool it was that their teacher was able to give them a book.

I hope that this book continues to spark their love of reading and they are able to expand their own personal library with all the books and stories that they enjoy.”

  • Easy Readers

    Funded Feb 12, 2025

Thank you so much for donating to my project! I am so excited to share these new books with my students. I hope that they are able to enjoy them, and that all my students will be able to find a book that they are able to read and enjoy”

  • Judge a Book by the Cover

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

Thank you so much for your donations to make my project happen! My students have loved having these books in our classroom. I love helping them pick out a book to read and looking at the cover with them. Books are truly a magical escape and it brings such joy to see these students want to pick up a book and read.

Since getting new books, my overall classroom reading has gone up. Everyone WANTS to have silent reading time so they can finish their chapter, or move on to the next book in their series. These books have truly been a blessing for some of them.”

  • Learning in a Happy Environment

    Funded May 21, 2024

Thank you so much for the posters and other resources!! I have been able to use them so much since putting them up and so have my students. They have been able to reference them on several assignments we have done in class. I know that with how much we have already used them, we will use them so much more.

Having more things on the walls also helps the classroom feel more homey and less blank space. I love being able to have these posters as tools in my classroom. It makes everyone that enters my classroom feel more calm and happy.”

  • Books, Books, and More Books!

    Funded Mar 29, 2024

Thank you for your donation to my classroom. My students loved having these books to read before summer started. It was really nice that they had so many options and books to choose from.

Near the end of the school year, we try to find many different activities that we can do to help keep our students busy. Having so many books for them to be able to read was a wonderful option. They were able to be entertained and discover the wonderful worlds of fiction.

I know that in the next years of teaching, all of my students will be able to benefit from these books.”

  • Creating Beautiful Minds

    Funded Apr 2, 2024

Your donation to my classroom has been a wonderful addition! My students have started using the playdoh during read aloud to help them keep their hands busy. I have noticed that a lot of them try to make shapes or animals from the book we are reading. They are also able to absorb a lot more of the information as we read.

We started using the rainbow pencils for our vocabulary practice. They love seeing the different colors mix. It's also fun for them to see the different colors of their peers pencils.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Reid
