E-Z UPs and Lets Stay Dry/Warm
Funded Oct 21, 2024The EZ Canopies have worked very well. We have used them for practice to keep our gear dry, a few games to stay dry on the bench. The weather has been very nice this year so we haven't used them as much. The balls have been wonderful because they have replaced the use of older broken down balls. All these additions help extend the life of our older equipment. Our players are very thankful to be able to stay warm, dry, and replace older equipment.
Our players were shocked that we had just received canopies. The girls were so excited to get them setup that when we first saw rain, they wanted to pop them up to use them. Thankfully, the following day it rained so hard that the canopies were ready to go. They kept our girls backpacks and gear all nice and dry along with a couple players that needed a break.
Our next step for our program is to continue replacing our old equipment but take care of current one. We as a team are looking to find creative ways to fundraise to continue bringing new life into it.”

Funded Jul 14, 2023Before we had 17 balls and many girls would have pair up or wait on a turn to get a chance to train. With our expanded inventory, we were able to get more girls involved, get ride of balls that were really worn out, and add more drills into practices. It has bee a tremendous help to have the new balls.
The girls were so happy to see that they each could get a ball to dribble, shot, and pass. This will continue to help the program as we look to get more girls involved and to be able to say we have the right equipment to help and support them makes a world of a difference. We thank say thank you enough!!”

New PE Exercises
Funded Apr 22, 2023One way that the items purchased are helping our students is by having the to option to play small sided games of soccer for PE. We started playing sideline soccer and instead of using huge goals, we used the pug goals which allowed us to have two games going at a time and got more students involved and excited.
Another activity we are doing is sit-ups with the kettle balls, resistance training with the bands. This has expanded our workouts and we have added more to a circuit.
Next steps will be to incorporate more workouts and games using the goals, kettle balls, and bands. Thank you so much for the support !”
