• Clinic Needs

  The impact these gifts were amazing! Thank you so much for supporting me and my students! The chair was a nice add to the clinic to help the space in the clinic and me not feeling like I am going to fall out of it at any minute. The snacks are probably the most important tribute to the clinic! There are so many children that come to school with no snack or don't have enough food to help them stay full through the day. Its very important to me that the students stay full and don't go home hungry.”

• Clothes for My Students

  I cant thank you enough for the support! We have such a wide variety of students! Some being they come from nothing and come in with holes and dirty clothes, and some have their needs. I am wanting to be able to help these children that need to good clothes on them so they don't get picked on. Also a big thing with elementary school is the children that have accidents and parents have no way to get here with extra clothes. I want to help each and every child like they are my own! Becoming a nurse here at Tomahawk has changed my life and I need to do everything I can to help my sweet students I consider my own! So Thank you again for helping me be able to make this difference!”

  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the donations to make my clinic a success! I have been able to organize and make the space feel welcoming and comfortable! Those two things are very important to me for these children! I want to be someone they trust and feel safe coming to. My goal as being a nurse is to be caring and love all of my students equally! Having a well run and organized clinic follows along in that goal to make sure I know exactly where things are and how to get to them quickly. Again, thank you so much!”

• Clinic Storage

  I came into the school nurse role about 6 months ago. Coming from the hospital where we had everything ordered for us was a big eye opener knowing we don't have everything we need. I came in very blind to the role with little to no training. Being an elementary school we have a lot of children that have accidents but there clothes (if they have any) are not stored to be easily accessible. In my project I have a storage cabinet that will fit into my bathroom to keep the children's clothes for easy access but also saves them from being embarrassed and having to ask in front of the other students, also some parents are not able to leave work to bring clothes so I also have extra clothes in the project. I have some office supplies to be able to store all my students files and information. These supplies have been such a huge help while organizing and preparing my clinic for my students. I have tons of storage now and extra clothes for students that don't have access to clean changes of clothes. I just want to thank you so so much!!!”
