Growing Minds and Hearts With Planting for Special Education Students

The moment they received the materials, their faces lit up with excitement. The prospect of getting their hands dirty, planting seeds, and watching them grow was incredibly engaging for them. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it was evident that they couldn't wait to get started.

As we embarked on the project, the students were eager and actively involved in every step. They asked questions, shared ideas, and worked together with a sense of purpose. The opportunity to connect with nature and understand the magic of growth firsthand was a powerful learning experience for them. It was the perfect project that fostered the development of language, vocabulary, expressive language including generating sentences/retelling/asking questions etc.
