Pencil Pouches, Paint and Paper
Funded May 7, 2024Thank you so much for these resources. We use the pencil pouches every day in class. Each student in both of my classes received a pencil pouch with their name on it that they bring to all their classes. They are really enjoying having a colorful pencil pouch that is theirs to put their materials in. It is very helpful to have them bring it home and back to school since many of these students do not have materials at home, like pencils or crayons.
We have used the paint and paper for some end of year projects last school year. The students really loved having these materials to use as the school year came to an end.”

Funded Dec 18, 2023Thank you for bringing the magic of the holidays to our classroom. My students were so excited to receive a goodie bag from Santa. I could see the joy on their faces when they looked at all the little gifts within the goodie bag. Many of my students do not receive anything for the holidays so this small gift means a lot to them.
It fills my heart to be able to do something special for my students. They work very hard all year and deserve to be celebrated. Giving them resources such as pencils and pencil sharpeners not only help them in the classroom but at home since they do not always have those materials at home. Thank you so much!”

Stools and Supplies
Funded Dec 11, 2023My students love the new stools! They were so happy to have brand new ones compared to our old ones that were coming apart. I now have enough stools for all of my students to sit with me during guided reading instead of them bringing their desk chair over. They have been taking extra care of the stools and stacking them up when they're finished with them! It is teaching them responsibility and how to take care of important things.
The cubby storage shelf has added more storage to our classroom. It is a fantastic thing to have when it comes to organizing materials. As well as the portable project cases have been. I can easily store my lessons and materials in a project case to have ready for the week. It makes planning a whole lot easier!”

Funded Nov 27, 2023The families I have been supporting with this project have been so grateful. The materials I requested have made such an impact on their lives. When I gave the coats and shoes to my students, their faces lit up the entire room. One of them was strutting around in her coat, so happy and thankful to have a new jacket for winter. I have never seen her smile as brightly before.
I will continue to support these families as best I can moving forward. These resources and materials have changed their lives forever. I know they will never forget this kindness.”

Chapter Books
Funded Dec 31, 2023Thank you so much for providing my students with these books! We have been using them almost every day for independent reading, book reports and close reading. My students love being able to read the same book as their friends, therefore having multiple copies of these books has been great with boosting reading morale.
A big classroom favorite has been The Berenstain Bears books. My students have been sharing them nonstop during independent reading time and writing book reports about them. I love seeing them so inspired to write about these books. Another favorite has been the Dragon Girls series. My higher readers have been taking these books home to read for their reading homework.
Thank you for widening their options when it comes to reading. Reading is a gift.”

Bookin' It
Funded Oct 6, 2023Thank you for bringing more stories into our classroom. We are currently reading Ellray Jakes Is Not a Chicken and my students adore this story. We do SEL every day in our classroom and this book discusses topics such as bullying and sticking up for yourself. This story is a great example being an Upstander - someone who sticks up for others that are being picked on.
We are also doing some novel studies with some of the other stories. The Magic Tree House books are a big hit! My students love the Dinosaurs Before Dark novel study, and they enjoy learning about dinosaurs. After reading the story, we look through the graphic novel to help us visualize the story better.”

Funded Oct 6, 2023My students love their new prizes! The squishy ball with orbies inside is very popular, as well as the slime. They love their new choices in prizes and appreciate them. I have used the laminating paper to laminate our center schedule board. Having this visual in my space has helped them with a smoother transition.
The new books have been a big hit for our book report choices. The boys really enjoy the Zombie Goldfish books and the girls really enjoy the Junie B. Jones books have been popular with the girls. I use the binder clips and paper clips daily! It has helped my organization immensely. Thank you for all of your support.”

Funded Oct 6, 2023You have fill our bellies and our hearts! My students were very excited to get these healthy snack choices. There is such a change in a student who is hungry and then able to have a snack, they feel full, welcomed, happy, and ready to learn. After fueling up with a good choice, my students are able to concentrate and learn better.
It fills my heart to be able to provide these students with something to eat when they have not eaten already. Students really stay on track after a healthy snack. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your donation!”

Funded Oct 6, 2023Thank you! Thank you! Your donations to give my students headphones and tablets has really changed our learning environment. My students are now able to go on their online learning programs and use the headphones to concentrate. They were so excited to have these new headphones to use. The concentration level of my students have gone up significantly.
My class was astonished to get access to tablets. They all want a chance to go on and play an educational learning game. These tablets are very kids friendly and easy for them to use. They are able to not only do humanities but mathematics and coding on these tablets. It is the perfect quiet, cool down activity!”

Supply Our Classroom!
Funded Aug 2, 2023Thank you for making such a positive difference in my classroom and my students learning experience! We use these materials daily. My students love the colorful erasers on their pencils, being able to use a white board eraser instead of a tissue, and having enough dry erase markers for everyone. It is truly a blessing to have these materials for them!
I use the laminator to make reusable learning resources for our center work that the students use daily. We use the index cards and markers to write our spelling words and tricky words weekly for extra practice. Our folders are used every day for storing our work. And the beautiful area rug helped bring our library alive and a welcoming spot for students to relax with a book of their choice.
Speaking of books—our next project is to bring in more books for our novel studies and independent reading!”
