The majority of my students, despite coming from low-income families, demonstrate a strong passion for learning, particularly in the field of mathematics. As middle schoolers, they exhibit a keen interest in delving into the complexities of math and are eager to explore its various concepts. However, to further nurture this passion and foster a deeper understanding of the subject, they require additional resources and support. Situated in the diverse and dynamic Southside of Chicago, our school community is dedicated to providing these essential resources, but we also recognize the need for additional funding to ensure that our students have the necessary tools and opportunities to continue excelling in their mathematical pursuits.
