This project has allowed my students so much needed fun in the classroom. They are able to learn during centers and educationally play. When playing the number matching game they had so much fun with the different cards that allowed their minds to be put into the game! When fishing for CVC words they felt as if they were out of the classroom playing with friends. These contributions allowed for the children to be kids again. They were so amazed by your kind donations and how much fun they were going to have. Your donation has truly impacted these students and for classrooms to come!”

Thank you for your contribution to my classroom! These children love all the new books so much. These books were immediately put into a new bin in our classroom and it has been empty ever since! The students loved being able to learn about exciting new topics and books thanks to your help.
Being able to read non-fiction books like these help keep them engaged and interested. These books are written so that they can learn while enjoying the contents of the book. Having this skill to understand and engage with non-fiction books is super important for children to understand history and major events that occurred in our world. Often time most classroom books are fiction and it is a creating a major weakness for students in the non-fiction area. Using these new materials students are able to work on closing that gap!
In our classroom there are many different times that they can switch books. The children are so thoughtful when sharing these books and passing them along to a friend who wants to read it as well. These students have time throughout the day to pick up a book whenever they have extra time and are also at home. I am noticing just how much these books have made an impact by seeing it throughout the day and on their reading logs! These students are so appreciative of these books and so am I!”
