Great Extracurricular Items for Newcomer ELLs
Help me give my students receive fun games and sports for gym, recess, and for club. This would greatly support my students interests in extracurricular activity. We appreciate any kind support you might provide.
I am very thankful for you this year to provide classroom essentials such as notebooks, crayons, pencils and more. These materials are being used schoolwide which indicates that our kids who are struggling to obtain a notebook or two are able to gain free materials thanks to you. The kids reaction to these donation was grateful because they know that these materials are accessible for them to use during class. The next steps of this project is providing it to my seven classes as much as I can. Thank you.”

I thank you so much for your support this year. I really appreciate you since your donation helped increase the ELA teachers classroom for our TBE Spanish students, providing loose leaf paper, notebooks, highlighters, pencils, and more. These books and school supplies are impacting my students daily.
My students are now able to read more graphic novels and recent books / graphic novels provided by your support. Additionally, when my students are thankful after indicating that we had generous people supporting them and teachers in our school especially since we are here to support our newcomer students learning. Also, students starting to checkout books in ELA and are eager to read and return it to get another especially the comic books and graphic books. Again, thank you!
Best,
Ms. Coreas”

I want to thank you for your help to my club. Students were eager to see various types of how to draw anime characters and monsters. They really were eager. I think this is a great form of way to support my students who love drawing and anime all in one.
I hope to use these books in my future endeavors. I appreciate these resources that would encourage future students at my school to love and appreciate Japanese culture by just following the steps in creating dragons, anime girls/boys, and even creating action poses or even just learning how to draw basic face features.”
I am thankful for the help you have provided for materials needed in the classroom to maintain a clean environment and provide daily supplies for the students. Additionally, you support my students this year with additional colored pencils for their student government election aside from making their work colorful when there is extra time in the class. I appreciate the help you provided with the UNO cards used when I arrived last year when teaching Title III.
Thank you for helping to support my students in many forms from coloring to getting an opportunity to wash their hands in class.”

Thank you for funding materials that are being used to clean daily, especially the paper towels and also for providing my students pens, pencils, whiteouts, and paper throughout their learning this past month. It really helped especially since this year all of my students are refugees and have very limited items, materials, and other things for daily life. I appreciate any help big or small that not only help my kids but also helps me to have normal items and have normal routines in the classroom.
My students and I used these new resources in various ways such as cleaning the classroom in the morning and the afternoon. Also, these materials were distributed daily to our newcomer students who did not have items to do their schoolwork. These materials were also shared with my co-teacher who also needed items due to lack of funds. We were able to increase supplies even if it lasted for the remainder of the school year or a bit for the next. My students reacted very surprised that I was able to get more pencils, pens, markers, and cleaning supplies that they use all the time to keep themselves safe.”
