  • Amazing Students' Stem Project

    I'm incredibly grateful for your generous support in providing the materials for our students' science fair! Thanks to your kindness, we successfully used the jars to investigate how various market drinks could reduce inflammation in the lungs of smokers. The students were amazed by their findings and excited to share their results.

    Additionally, the wave-maker device proved invaluable for another group of students, who used it to study how different dock structures could lessen the impact of waves. Their hands-on experiments were a highlight of the fair and provided real-world applications of their learning.

  • For the Investigatory Project of our Students

    On behalf of the Unalaska Community and my students, we can't thank you enough for your generosity. I made sure the kids used all the materials you've provided for us. 1st group in my class investigated the wind speed in different areas and the 2nd group focused on the effect of the blade's shape on how much electrical power it can generate.

    During the Science Fair held last March 12, 2023, they couldn't hide their excitement to present their scientific investigation. Parents were excited to see their kid's passion in presenting their science board and they are proud of the kid's dedication to finish their investigatory project. Their investigations made them more curious about windmills, even parents are fascinated with the outcome of the projects and how their kids will help the community to have more sustainable and eco-friendly energy resources, What made me even more fulfilled is that a group in my class wanted to challenge themselves and was eager to make a windmill model that will automatically fold when the wind is too fast. They want to solve a problem that may arise if the wind is too fast when it can put a major stress on blades and will affect the mechanism inside the windmills. So in their next investigation, they will incorporate robotics and modern technology, Their ideas excite me more about what they can do for the community in the future. Again thank you for supporting the project and I'm looking forward to having more projects with you.”
