  • Teaching Through Terrific Technology

    I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous contribution to our classroom project, "Teaching Through Terrific Technology".

    Your donation has made a real difference in our classroom. We now have headphones that students in my class, at times, do not bring in on their own. This has been problematic for their online learning. With your assistance, this is no longer an issue. The DVD Super Drive also helps me to teach curriculum.

    In addition, with the funds you've provided, we are now able to store all of the Grade 4 grade level computer resources on an external hard drive without fear of losing online cloud storage. This gives us a concrete resource that I, as grade level chairperson, can pass on to other grade level teachers. We now have more secured grade level curriculum unity and cohesion. A huge benefit for all 4th graders here.”

  • Music Is Education Magic!

    Funded Mar 5, 2023

    The music equipment became a great addition to our classroom. The students immediately showed interest. They asked how they could start learning how to play the keyboards. To introduce them to music, we discussed foundations: notation, rhythm, and tone. I expressed that the beautiful thing about the arts is that we all get to be free and creative within boundaries.

    I've structured our learning times to include half of the time direct instruction through the SimplyPiano app and the other half of the time free expression. The students have found new confidence and enjoyment through the arts. I am so thankful for the opportunities they've been given.”
