Work and Fun, Get the Learning Job Done!

First and foremost, I want to thank you for your generosity and great support towards supplying my classroom with beautiful and purposeful material that enhances my students' learning by keeping them engaged in the learning process.

My students have made great use of this material. We have used our material when we work in centers. There is a time for differentiated instruction in class. At this time, I work with small groups to address their specific learning needs while other small groups (usually 3 more groups) are working independently. This is where the material you have graciously donated to me is extremely useful. Students need to be engaged and the use of the material in independent groups needs to be relevant to the kindergarten objectives and standards, which will be conducive to learning and being successful.

My students were very excited to see their new material and work with it. They cheered and had great, beautiful smiles on their faces as I explained how material needed to be handled and set up their groups.
