HELP STEM Student Get Headphones For Academics

I am writing to express my gratitude for your donations that helped my second graders acquire their own individual high-quality headsets. As technology has become a pivotal part of the learning process in our classroom, reading time and taking weekly assessments in math, ELA and other areas of our curriculum that entailed the use of technology was a challenge due to lack of adequate headphones for our students.

Since acquiring their new headphones more than half of our second graders have read and listened to more books that not only enhanced their knowledge, their active participation in class discussions and also their reading levels. We have done research projects during Black History month by reading and listening to books as well as watching documentaries while other classmates engaged in their works without disturbing them.

On behalf of me and all of the second graders (who are nearly third graders!) we thank you all for your kindness and generosity and hope that you continue to donate to our students and all students in need of support.”
