All In One Place!
Funded Feb 28, 2023Thank you so much for our new carts! The timing was perfect. Our free after school care just increased its enrollment, and our classroom is now being used even more by students other than our own class. We have the perfect solution to storing our supplies in one place that can be rolled out of the way quickly and conveniently.
The packages arrived in separate boxes over a week. The students grew more and more excited as the construction of the carts progressed. On the day it was all completed, I reminded the students to clean up as usual, and that we would get to start using the carts. Without waiting for directions, they all dropped their supplies into the carts, and they have been using them ever since. It's all very simple and now part of the daily routine.
I love watching them help out, by storing and retrieving each other's boxes. Your kindness has given them more opportunities to show kindness to their peers.”

Funded Feb 25, 2023My students love having the new carpet squares! They have stopped moving forward during floor time, and are no longer bumping into each other when seated. We quickly developed an organized way to line up and take the next square off the top of the pile. They then pretend the color they have is a "juicy (purple) grape or the "warm (yellow) sunshine," etc.
When we first received the box, they couldn't wait to use them. They arrived so quickly that I told them I still needed to think about how we would distribute and collect them. Everyone quickly agreed that all of the colors were nice, and they wouldn't fuss over which color they received. They eagerly want to be chosen as a helper to collect and pile the squares neatly when we are done.
I truly appreciate your help making something as simple as sitting on the floor a more comfortable time for our class. The colors are beautiful and brighten up our room. Using the squares gives the students another opportunity to show care and responsibility.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Seid
