  • Kindergarteners Need Hands-On Learning

    Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students have loved using these hands-on learning tools throughout the school day.

    We have used the mirrors multiple times during our phonics periods to look at how our mouths move when we make certain sounds.

    The magnetic boards have been extremely helpful for those students who have difficulty manipulating words. They have been able to use these boards to make connections between words. They are manipulating words by changing the beginning sounds to create rhyming words. They have changed the middle vowel sounds to create a whole new word!

    The colored printer and ink has been helpful to us in that we can print color copies of pictures for various activities in math, social studies and phonics.”
