Learning to Read While Playing Games and Destressing

Thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom! My students were so excited to open and begin using the reading games, fidget toys and prizes! They have loved being able to challenge one another while playing reading games, and they were so excited to use the fidget toys to destress. These games have made reading a fun and exciting activity for my students, and when they finish their assignments, they are constantly asking to play one of the new reading games.

They also appreciate the fidget toys and pop-its! When they are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, these resources have been extremely helpful in providing them the tools and resources to destress in the classroom. Students have begun to advocate for themselves by requesting the use of these fidgets, and I have loved seeing them become more independent in their ability to use the tools.
