Hot Glue for Hot Projects

Thank all of you who donated to this project. These glue guns will allow a whole host of projects to be carried out in the class room given limited time for glue to dry. On a humorous note, since this project was submitted, I attempted to carry out a project involving oyster shells. I needed the students to glue a pearl (fake) inside of an oyster shell. I gave each child a very small tube of super glue with maybe three drops and instructed the students not to get glue on their fingers. Somehow and maybe defying the laws of physics almost all the children got super glue on their fingers with several fingers glue together. Fortunately I had nail polish remover but a good half the class time was used to unstick the kids. These glue guns will eliminate this fiasco in the future”
