Music Students in Need
Funded Feb 9, 2024Your generous donations made a significant impact on my students music studies in several ways. First of all, string instruments need working bows, strings, and rosin in order for students to play them. Your donation helped us replace those bows/rosin/strings, so we now have 8 additional working instruments for our students to play!
We also have a Music and Technology class, but we are seriously lacking in the technology aspect of the class. Your generous donations helped me provide my students with some adequate computer monitors, so when my students listen and respond to music they can actually hear it.
Thank you for awarding me this opportunity to enrich my students music education. It is greatly appreciated! We will enjoy using these materials for years to come.”
With gratitude,

Funded May 28, 2023Thank you for your generous donation towards a new cello for our middle school orchestra program. It can be a challenge to get students to choose to play the larger string instruments required to complete an orchestra. They can be cumbersome for young students to carry to and from school everyday along with all their other materials. Your donation goes a long way towards having enough instruments at school for our students to play.
Our local bus company just announced that our students can't bring their instruments on the bus anymore, so it's become even more vital to have cellos at school for our students to play. Most of our cellos are in disrepair after years of use and some are not good quality instruments, but now, thanks to you, we now have a good quality cello in our stable of instruments, which makes playing even more enjoyable for our students. Please know that our students will continue to make music with this cello for years to come and they are already putting it to good use.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Bettincourt
