With the bookshelves, we were able to build a classroom library filled with texts that fuel student imagination and serve as the foundation for meaningful discussions.   • Great Books and Relaxed Settings for Windows to the World

    Thank you for the support. When my student first saw the bean bag chairs they were excited. And, since placing the bean bag chairs beside the classroom library, students have been more inclined to go get to class early. Often they arrive before the morning bell so that they can claim a spot on the chairs with their reading materials. They have also self created reading groups and book talk conversations, which allow for a deeper analysis of the text and, development of speaking and listening skills. These skills are common core aligned for the subject area and essential for student social and emotional development.
