Dramatic Play

It is with great appreciation that I can share our experience with our new additions to our Dramatic Play Area (Home Center.) My students were beyond excited to add "real life" baby dolls and to my surprise the cleaning supplies were even more utilized than expected. I had a couple parent volunteers helping one day, when they saw how much the students loved the cleaning supplies they said, "wow! I need to buy some of those for our house!" It was amazing to see the care and love the students showed the baby dolls in their play. We had to work on taking turns and sharing because they were such a hit! I saw the baby be rocked, cuddled and bottle fed. It also taught them how to take turns which is a good learning experience at this age. This project has enhanced our dramatic play in a positive way.
