Sublimation Project
Funded Feb 2, 2024We are using the resources to create items for the school to make it better. For example, one student made mouse pads for our library. The students used the materials to play around, create, and gain confidence in their creations. It also is a great way to show them how to start businesses.
This is a great way to inspire the future entrepreneurs and help boost the American economy and close our wage gaps that make our country unequal and unfair. I believe we can give students options and alternatives to college that can help them make even more educated decision.
Thank you for donation and helping lower-income schools equalize the playing field.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Roque
Help Build a School Library Title I
Funded Jun 16, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donations. Our school previously had NO library for 10 years. And now with your support we have a growing catalog of books that represent our demographic--99% African American and Latino students. The library is run by the students giving them work experience and teaching them how to keep inventory, due dates, and customer service.
It also makes the room feel ambient and beautiful to be surrounded by books. The students decorated the windows last year and are in the midst of decorating the room for the holidays.
It's so nice for our school to have a shared space where kids can come and feel safe, in particular introverted kids who don't thrive in other places.
I appreciate you and THEY appreciate you thinking of and supporting underserved communities. We are wishing you a very Merry Holiday and that your generosity comes back to you times 10!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Roque
