  • Operation Dry Erase

    Funded Sep 16, 2024

    We want to express our sincere gratitude for your generous donation of dry erase markers, whiteboard erasers, and crayons. Your gifts have been a tremendous asset to our first-grade classroom. These supplies are essential for our students' learning, and your kindness has made a significant difference in our ability to provide them with the tools they need to succeed.

    The moment we unboxed the new markers and erasers, the students' eyes lit up with anticipation of using them to learn. Each table caddy is also equipped with new sets of crayons which are used daily to enhance learning.

  • Headphones for All!

    Thank you so much for your contributions to my project "Headphones for All!". We received the headphones and now each student has their very own set to use during instructional time. They are able to focus and concentrate on their learning without the disruption of others' learning around the room.

    The smiles on their faces when I handed them a pair of headphones was priceless! Some students come to school with very little so to have their own pair of headphones made their day.

  • Social Emotional Learning Matters

    I cannot even begin to describe the level of excitement my students have when I read them our "A Little Spot" books! We start each day with a social emotional lesson that teaches students about their feelings and how to treat others. Using these "A Little Spot" books has jumpstarted so many important conversations around the feelings we all experience and most importantly how to tame those BIG ones.

    Each time I bring out a new book they cheer! Thank you for providing our classroom with a concrete model on how to deal with emotions. I am sure you would agree that this is an area we can all continue to improve on. I am so thankful I can start the conversation at a young age with my students.

  • Crayons, Glue, TPT, Oh My!

    The funding of this donation means so much to me and my 17 students. I feel confident that we can complete our projects and assignments using our new crayons and glue sticks for the whole year! We were always running out and having to ration our supplies, but now we can create without worry.

    The resources purchased from TPT, a fantastic resource for teachers, will help them to grow as writers, readers, and mathematicians.

  • Pencil Sharpener to the Rescue!

    Our end of the school year was a blur! Once we unboxed our new pencil sharpener we put it to good use right away. The students' faces lit up as they gave new life to a pencil. It was wonderful being able to rely on a sharpener to keep us writing the rest of the year.

    Many of my students offered to fill the job of "pencil sharpener", now that we have a super quick, super efficient machine to do the work! Thank you again for the support you provided to our classroom. My students were ecstatic to receive our sharpener and I know my future students will be just as grateful next year.”
