  • Kindergarten Math Library for Autistic Students

    Funded Dec 4, 2023

It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give, toward my "Kindergarten Math Library for Autistic Students" project! With the extraordinary books I received I was able to add a literacy station during centers time. Now I am able to work in improving my students literacy skills even during math.

My students were very excited when the books arrived! They are working collaboratively in this literacy station to read the books and to applied what they have learned with the support of manipulatives.

The resources we received are from excellent quality and will last for many years. Again, thank you for your kind and generous donations! We are very appreciative!!"”

    With gratitude,

  • Sensory Toys, Tools, and Books for Kindergarten Autistic Students

    Funded May 16, 2023

It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give, toward my Sensory Toys, Tools and Books for Kindergarten Autistic Students" project! With the extraordinary supplies, I was able to work with my students in give them the support they needed to learn.

My students were very excited when the supplies arrived. Their favorite supply was by far the sensory books and breathing ball. My students place the sensory books in our calm down area, and all took turns to read them. We incorporate the breathing ball to our daily breathing routine with a lot of success. My students have identified with many of the read-aloud books, but had also benefit from the sensory cushion as well as the fidgets. The fidgets help them to self-regulate themselves specially after lunch or when changes in their routine occur.

Again, thank you so much. I am so very grateful for your generous donations specially because of the impact that would have in my students in the years to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Avalos Rosales

With the extraordinary supplies, I was able to work with my students in give them the support they needed in a fun way.

My students' faces lit up when the supplies arrived! My students work collaboratively using the literacy/phonics center to find the correct beginning, middle or ending sound to match the pictures. Additionally, they were very eager to work in the math centers to practice their counting skills.
