  • Mental Health Campaign Incentives

    Funded Nov 17, 2023

    The mental health incentives were a hit! It allowed our psychiatric social work team to not only promote conversations around mental health topics but also incentives students for their participation. Seeing students walk around campus with their treat encouraged other students to also participate in our campaigns. Additionally, we were able to collaborate with other counselors to promote excellent attendance with City Year to promote healthy study habits. Your generosity went a long we and I am so thankful to you!”

  • Make GWCMS Green

    Thank you so much for helping us make a push for a green Carver Middle School. Our Leadership scholars are continuously making sure to gather recyclable goods to get them to a recycling center. With your help, we are building the foundational blocks to help build a green community at our school. We thank you for your generosity and your investment into our environment.   • Cool Down Corner

    Our scholars and I are so grateful for your generosity and investment into youth mental health. Whether it is due to needing a space to cool down, take a breather after feeling anxious, or not feeling their best, our students know the tools in our Cool Down Corner is for them to use. I have seen first hand how they self sooth and self regulate to go back into the classroom. If you are curious, our students gravitate more towards the kinetic sand and the feeling scale. And most importantly, they've truly honored the space with integrity- this let's me know how much they value their own mental health.”
