Calming Corner

The calming corner has been very helpful to my students! We have been able to work together to use the corner as a place to take a break from completing work or when they are feeling overwhelmed with upsetting situations. They feel comfortable speaking with me when using the corner. Having the kinetic sand and magnetic tiles helps students put their energy into something creative and provides a sense of relaxation. The shelve has been great to organize the items for use so that they are easy to find while keeping the calming corner neat and tidy. Thank you again for helping this come to life!”
