Military Pins
Funded Apr 19, 2024Thank you for your donations! These donations are greatly appreciated. My students are glad to be finally be able to share this with our local community. We are going to use these resources to give back to our local Veterans Museum. We have already organized the pins in class in categories and rankings.
My students were very grateful for the materials, as they have been waiting a while for these materials and are ready to be finished with the project. These materials will help these students give back to the community and make them feel accomplished. You donors are very kind for giving to my students. I really appreciate how much you have done. My students will now be able to move on to the next part in the project. These students will put together the boxes by entering the pins in the slots and label them correctly. These pins date back to World War 2 and are very interesting. Each pin has it's own background and comes from many different people. We again greatly appreciate your donations! Thank you!”

Materials For Our EAST classroom
Funded Nov 27, 2023Thank you so much for the helping us get new materials for my classroom. The students absolutly love having the new items to help them work on their project. They will be using the paint brushes to help paint certain parts of their projects. They will be using the sticker machine to help promote EAST at Vilonia High when they are working community events. They will be using the earbuds to listen to on demand EAST trainings to help them learn new technology. The students were so excited to open the sticker machine and couldn't wait to figure out how to use it. The students are also very excited to use the wood pieces to make different creations using the Glowforge.
So now that we have these materials the students will get closer to finishing their EAST projects. For example one of the projects the students are making signs to put out on our school's nature trail. They were wanting to paint the base of their signs but were unable to due to us not having paint brushes, but now they can start painting the base of the signs to get them closer to being ready to put out on the trail. So from the students and myself, Thank you for your contribution to our classroom.”

EAST Drone Expansion
Funded Nov 27, 2018We are thankful that we were able to get the DJI spark drone due to your generosity. In the EAST classroom we strive to find projects that will benefit our community as much as possible. We have many different varieties of technology in our class now, however we were unable to get a drone before now. We will use this drone to advance our current projects and to open the door to new possible projects. This drone will be used to create videos in places we normally could not get to with a regular video camera. We can also use this to help us map out locations from an Aerial view to make our layouts of such areas more accurate. We hope we can do many new projects with this drone.”
