My students and I would love to thank you for the various donations we received from you! With the new resources I was able to have them use the sensory objects for calming time, the face cleansers and bandaids were used in class when needed. The books and plushies about emotions were amazing.

The books allowed me to create a lesson for the entire class! As I read the book out Loud each student had a different emotion. When it was time to share that emotion the student with it got to share it. This activity was a success as it taught my students that it is ok to feel certain things and why. It shared how people express that emotion and how one can also use it. Finally, I found an interactive lesson with the use of the promethean board. After the first share, I proceeded to read the book again but this time with the interactive book. This allowed the students to see how each emotion was shared via a video lesson as well.
