Calming Area: A Den for the Mt. Washington Wolves

Thank you for your generous donation. With the funds that were received, each classroom at Mt. Washington Elementary received items to be used in their calming corner. Included in the bundle of items were: various fidget toys, a liquid timer, tools for practicing deep breathing, and a weighted blanket. Students were excited to see and use their calming items, and teachers expressed their gratitude for providing supplies to benefit their students. It was a joy to educate teachers and students about the importance of self-regulation and self-soothing so that learning can occur.”
