No Strings Attached: A Teacher Instructs & Supports Efficiently

We have been using the iPad and pen daily with ELA and Math review and during spelling. I project it up on my board so the students can see their work while we discuss and figure out strategies, answers, practice spelling rules, and practice our spelling words. I can give the directions, talk with students, and check their understanding while teaching instead of standing at the front of my classroom stuck to a computer.

Students get help and support at the time they need it instead of waiting until the class is ready. This helps tremendously with classroom management for my 2nd graders. If they are talking and off task, it is so easy for me to use proximity to help them focus. I can zoom in or out and take care of pacing issues instantly. This has created a calm and focused atmosphere where students simply raise their hand and I am there ready to help. We are getting through these reviews and spelling lessons faster and more accurately.

I am so excited to start using it in other lessons, as I am getting more savvy with it.”
