The Art of Stop Motion

Thank you for your generous contribution for our media art classroom. Your donations gave us the opportunity to purchase stop motion animation kits, HP Chromebooks, a photography lighting kit and colored paper to my students and you have made a significant impact on their learning. Stop motion animation is an engaging way for students to learn about concepts that involve filmmaking and creativity. My students were most excited about making a movie with the stop motion animation kit.

Students are able to learn media art in a fun and exciting way. Many of my students who enjoy legos have really warmed up to making a stop motion movie. Students have more access to tools and resources that they may not have had otherwise. This has helped to make learning more engaging and effective for these students in learning media art.”
