A Voice for my Students

I am writing to you once again to extend my sincere gratitude for your generous donation!!! Ever since I received your donation of the tablet, I have used it in my therapy room in a variety of ways to benefit and improve my student's communication skills.

One of the ways my students have utilized the tablet was to engage in educational and rewarding materials such as Boom cards. Boom cards are interactive speech therapy materials that target a multitude of skills from articulation skills to receptive and expressive language. Thanks to your donation my students are now engaging in these motivational activities that they would not be exposed to if not for your donation.

Furthermore, I have also utilized this tablet as a reward for completing challenging activities. Many of my students experience avoidance of speech and language activities as those tasks are difficult for them. I have successfully implemented tablet as a "choice-time reward" which makes my students extra motivated to complete challenging tasks to the best of their ability.”
