Calming Area

Thank you for providing my 5th graders with a calm space they can use when they need a break. They absolutely love this area and like using it all day every day. I noticed it is mostly the boys that like using this quiet area. This small area makes them feel comfortable and happy. It really makes their day and ask if they can sit there all the time.

I also noticed they want to use it as a working area, so I am planning on submitting another project for alternative sitting instead of the hard chairs they use all day. I think having bean bags to sit on helps them focus and enjoy learning more. Thank you for helping my students learn.”
