  • Ms. Swick’s Calming Room Self-Care

    Funded Aug 12, 2024

    My students have had great success learning about self care and self love. They have been given the opportunity to take a carebear and a journal home to help them with issues that they have to work through we have a calming couch and safe space in our office where we give them a support bear and explain how they can write the neg thoughts in their journal and then write a positive thought that can take the place of the neg. One. My students love this practice and often come in to receive love and support from us and the carebears that provide happiness. Teen mental Health Initiative You are a blessing and have helped many kids at our school !”
