  • Climate and the Environment

    Thank you for your kindness and generosity. with your help, I was able to fulfill my project. I will be using these items during our Science center time. This would be a fun hands-on activity where my students can explore through play and learning about the environment.

    My students have autism so making centers fun and engaging is the core to keep their interest going. With these new hands-on materials, I will be able to keep them engaged while learning about various science topics. Thank you for helping a first-year teacher try to make lessons fun and enjoyable for my group of students.”

  • Clean and Tidy

    Thank you for your kind and generous donations. With your donations, I'm able to maintain a clean and organized classroom. My students have autism so having a clean space for them is crucial in their learning. I want to create a healthy, safe, clean environment for all my students. This will allow my students to have a safe space during their learning. Maintaining a clean space will also help with my littles that like to put everything in their mouth. The vacuum will allow me to have and maintain a clean rug when my students can sit during rug time/ our circle time. Thank you again for your kind donations.”

  • Positive Reinforces

    Thank you for your kind and generous donations. With your donations, I'm able to maintain great prizes inside my treasure box. My students look forward to every Friday when they are able to receive a prize. My students have autism so setting goals is very important. They have daily checks-in after recess and after lunch. If they are able to collect all ten stars they can grab an extra prize or work for a preferred activity of their choice. All the new and great goodies will go a long way in my classroom to set clear expectations. Thank you again and take care.”

  • Calming Area

    Funded Jan 11, 2023

    Thank you so much for the opportunity to be able to provide a calming corner for my group of students. My students are part of the AUT-CORE program so needing a calming area is greatly beneficial in my classroom.

    The calming corner is set up across the room where my students can go there when needed for a personal break. The fidget toys I received are greatly used when working in small groups/centers to keep them sitting for a longer period of time. The usage of the timer has been used daily so my students are aware visually on how long the activity will be or how long their break will be. These are just a few examples on how the tools I receive have benefited my group of students.”
