We Just Want to Draw!
Funded Aug 2, 2023Our kindergarten, 103, wishes to express our love and appreciation for the art supplies you got for us. We truly love them, and thank you so very much. As an artist, I know that art helps children express themselves and learn skills like patterning, as you will see in the photographs. The students practice critical thinking skills by making a mental creation through painting and coloring beautiful art following their plans by working on what they intend to thank you so much.
The students in this Kindergarten 103 class truly learned to grasp pencils, crayons, and paintbrushes, which enhanced their fine motor muscles. As you know, these early skills help in their development, such as helping students button their coats and other tasks requiring controlled movements. In math, my students learned to create and began understanding concepts like writing, shape, and size and making comparisons that require counting and spatial reasoning. Thank you so much.
As students enjoyed their art lessons, with question and answer sessions their Language skills, developed. The students in this Kindergarten class learned how to describe and share their artwork, as well as their process, they truly have develop great language skills again thank you for your support wonderful.”

Funded Dec 6, 2023Thank you, thank you! It's almost impossible to avoid germs because they're all around us. On behalf of my kindergarten class and the colleagues I shared with, I want to express our sincere gratitude for the products you supplied us with; we wish to thank you for ensuring our safety and keeping us safe in these uncertain times. When the products arrived, our students were excited; their claps and smiles were appreciative. I ensured all students knew that DonorsChoose and contributors bought all the supplies. Upon arriving at our classroom every morning, my students and I clean all the desks and furniture.
This practice has kept us safe from viruses and bacteria, dusk, and germs, which certainly has prevented the spread of germs in and out of the classroom. When students are dismissed, I take the liberty of spraying the room with the wonderful verbena scents. Many teachers always asked Ms. Marshall what that wonderful scent was. Teachers and administration sometimes come by just for a peaceful, fresh-smelling, airy, and bright classroom visit, and we always welcome them (smile). Thank you.
Please accept our sincere thanks and appreciation and care for our safety like our teachers do daily. I could see the kids' reactions to the smell of our clean classroom every day. We disinfect frequently touched areas in the classroom, such as the classroom doorknob, smart board light switch, sink, and technology devices. Again, thank you; you are appreciated,”

Funded Feb 8, 2023We are super grateful and appreciative of all donated resources. The students' expressions when they saw the new materials were priceless. Our first game was the Roll and Read phonics game; to decode new words, students raced each other to be the first to build all of their words. This was so much fun. Currently, students are working on laminating their drawings for their kindergarten memory books to present to their parents and or caregivers.
