Library and Fine Motor Centers

Funded Dec 19, 2022

The TK Troopers and I greatly appreciate your generosity and investment in our center-based learning curriculum. We have been hard at work using the dot markers to create art and words to express ourselves. We have been working diligently in our library to develop our interest and love for books and print. We have been working tirelessly in our sensory-based center where play dough lends itself as a conduit for imagination.

Since receiving the materials in January, our Troopers have extended their focus time in the Library to an average of 20 minutes (almost 5 minutes longer than before). The art center is now open for creative expression on paper, learning how to make patterns, shapes, and color compositions. The play dough that was provided now allows for up to 4 students to work together in the center at one time, with the ability to change the materials every two weeks.

Overall, your donation has made a significant impact in our classroom. It is because of people like you that we, as educators, are able to successfully teach in the classroom.”

With gratitude,

Ms. Lopez
