  • New Classroom Organization and Art Supplies

    Thank you for helping me provide opportunities for my students to express themselves creatively. It is so important for students to expand their skills and test different mediums.

    The storage bins will also help to organize our supplies and make it easier for everyone to access. They will also give me the opportunity to send paint kits home with students.”

  • Classroom Library

    Thank you for your help in expanding our school library. Students have used the books to learn about historical figures, like Rosa Parks, as well as explored science topics, like cloning. They are using the library as a resource to learn and I enjoy seeing them engage with the texts.

    My students are grateful to have more diverse reading material and I am especially grateful to see them exploring the library to develop a love of reading!

  • Hands-on Science!

    Funded Dec 14, 2022

    Through this project, students have been able to apply their physical science lessons as they have built snap connections. They learned how to make connections in order to complete a circuit and see how the energy flows. They also explored engineering concepts as they built structures to learn how increasing the slope would affect the rate of speed of an object.

    Students were intrigued by the materials and one student asked if they could get started immediately. They were interested to find out how these science kits would help them understand the concepts they have been learning.

    We plan to continue to use the newton's laws kit, the human body models, and snap circuits to expand student understanding of science concepts. We will create labs around these supplies to give students hands-on experience with what they are learning in their Physical Science course.”
