I have a class of 18 Kindergarten students with very diverse backgrounds. We are a Title I school that is considered high poverty because the free/reduced lunch rate is very high. Our school is also highly populated with English Language Learners (ELL). Many of our students are just beginning to learn English. I rise to the challenge because my students matter! With a very limited budget I face many obstacles. I have a number of students to serve that are not able to bring supplies needed to be successful in school. Equipment and supplies are not cheap.
