  • I Can Actually See Cells???

    Funded Jun 6, 2024

My students and I cannot thank you enough for your generosity. My students have already done so many labs using the microscopes! We have looked at the stages of mitosis in onion slices. We have compared what we see in different types of water. We have compared plant and animal cells. They have looked at all of my 101 slides that I purchased for them! They are practically microscope experts at this point! And to top it off, they always choose to use their extra time when their work is completed to examine random things with the microscopes by making their own prepared slides. They absolutely love it! Thank you so much!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Friley

  • Simple Supplies

    Funded Jun 2, 2024

Unfortunately, many of the students in our low socio-economic area do not have the means to purchase every day supplies. And then there are all the kids whose parents just don't care enough to get the things there kids need. Teachers step in and get all of the necessities for these students. We step in and let these kids know that we care! That we have their backs and will protect and help them!

While this is something near and dear to our hearts, it also puts a huge damper on our bank accounts. As you know, teachers aren't rich, but we will do everything in our power to help these kids. The fact that there are so many of you out there willing to help out teachers and our students warms my heart! We cannot thank you enough for your generosity.”

  • Where Oh Where Have My Markers All Gone?

    Funded Dec 18, 2024

We really appreciate your generous donations! A lot of biological parts need to be drawn and labeled to fully grasp what is going on. We draw individual organelles, cells, steps of meiosis and mitosis, protein synthesis, etc.

We go through art supplies like crazy! Not to mention, a lot of the girls I have love to make their notes pretty using the thin markers. They were very excited when the new box came today!

As for my environmental class, we do elaborate drawings of biomes that include specific animals, plants, and trees within each biome. These supplies help us all out so much!!”

  • Achoo, Achoo, Achoo!

    Funded Oct 2, 2024

My students and I cannot thank you enough for these classroom supplies! Allergy and flu seasons are among us and we have already gone through four boxes of tissues this year! We also have gone though almost all of our glue sticks completing flashcards for each chapter. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!”

  • Do You Have The Knowledge To Escape!

    Funded May 7, 2024

I have already purchased two escape rooms, an activity for genetics, and a mutations assignment.

The escape room were a really fun way to review for the tests towards the end of the year! I plan on making a few changes and purchasing locks to make it even more interactive and motivating for next year!

The genetics activity was so fun! They had to play rock, paper, scissors to figure out the alleles their monsters got from their parents. Then they had to figure out which traits were dominant and recessive to figure out the traits their monsters would have. Then they had to draw them. They turned out so good!!”

  • Student Supply Station

    Funded May 7, 2024

My students and I cannot thank you enough for giving us the supply station that they wanted! Now everything that they asked for is organized and easily accessible to the students!

I actually set it up over the weekend without telling them that we had been funded. They were so surprised when they came back to school and everything they had asked for was set up for them! They have all the coloring supplies, glue, paper, extras, and make-up work for days theybare absent all in one area! This makes everything so much easier than remembering where you go for what! We are all forever grateful for you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Friley
