  • Creative Leaders Propelling Our Students To Change the World!

    It is unimaginable and beyond appreciated to have yet another Donor's Choose Project funded by this amazing community. Our most recent project aimed to provide students with books about activists and leaders. Those who use creativity and intelligence to inspire positive change in our community.

    We are thoroughly excited to read more about MLK Jr. and other "thinkers" who we will be seeing via a musical later this spring. Our goal is to propel children forward by providing a well-rounded education that encourages not only academic, but social growth. This project will do just that!”

  • Inspiring Independence with Autonomy and Accountability!

    Thank you so much for taking the time to read and learn about my Donor's Choose Project. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Students are loving their puffy cushion seats, coffee table, lamp, and rug!

    By funding this project you have increased autonomy within our classroom and inspired independence. These responsible learners are able to move about, finding the location where they can learn their best. By fostering this type of independence now, students gain more knowledge about themselves, their learning styles, and therefore can be the most productive for years to come.”

  • Wobble While You Work

    Funded Dec 8, 2024

    Thank you so much for your contribution to our Donor's Choose project for six wobble stools. We received the stools yesterday and the students were elated to open the boxes. We plan to create a wobble stool sign up where students can sign up to have a turn to try out the new flexible seating options!

    While promoting equity, we'll be helping students who need movement breaks while working. Research suggests that concentration and student engagement may increase if students are able to move a bit while working. In addition, vestibular and proprioceptive feedback while using the stool may positively impact balance and coordination.

    Your donation made this project possible for our current students, and dozens upon dozens of other students for years to come. I truly appreicate your kindness!”

  • Create Sensory Friendly Learning and Enhance Social Emotional Growth!

    Thank you once again for your donations towards our project this past autumn. Our change in classroom lighting has made a more calming atmosphere and the games were ready for students right away! Students were able to help label the games and get pieces ready for use. They've already been utilized during indoor recesses and we have great plans for this spring as we wind down the school year.
